Property Management
The Property Management team is responsible for the day-to-day operations on-site at each of the properties. Their activities include property repairs and improvements, enhancing tenant relationships, and achieving greater efficiency and economies of scale.
Where it makes economic and business sense, Wells is now actively expanding its property management function. We recently have opened property management offices in New Jersey, San Francisco, and Houston, and are currently bringing Boston and Baltimore online. Since consolidating property management services in the Minneapolis, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C. markets, we achieved an 11% drop in annual building operating costs within each market. We will continue to evaluate each property to determine whether internal or external management will best serve our investors' and tenants' interests.
