Wendy Gill

Wendy Gill is Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for Wells REIT II. She provides oversight of financial operations and tactical direction over the financial accounting and reporting functions for the REIT. Ms. Gill’s role involves overseeing day-to-day accounting functions at the portfolio and individual property levels, as well as reporting to the SEC, various boards of directors, and other corporate governance forums for Wells REIT II. Ms. Gill comes into this position after having served as Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer for Wells Real Estate Funds since April 2007. In that capacity, she was responsible for providing similar guidance over the financial accounting and reporting functions for the real estate portfolios of Wells’ REITs, limited partnerships, Value-Added Fund, and 1031 Exchange programs.

Ms. Gill has over 15 years of experience in the accounting and finance industries. Prior to joining Wells, she was with Arthur Andersen in the firm’s Atlanta, Georgia, and Washington, D.C., offices. Ms. Gill was responsible for the planning, execution, and supervision of financial statement attest engagements for various publicly traded and privately held companies, with a concentration in the real estate and hospitality services industries. Her client list at the time included Wells, along with Saks Incorporated, Marriott International, Allstate Financial Corporation, CSL Ventures, Homes.com, REIT Management & Research Inc., Paralyzed Veterans of America, and many others.

Ms. Gill holds the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation from the Maryland State Board of Public Accountancy and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and the Georgia Society of CPAs. She received a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware.
